HOLMES - ROWE
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Holmes on Wednesday evening February 5 at eight o'clock when their daughter, Sara Beatrice, became the bride of Elmer Forrest Rowe. Dr. R. A. Bartlett of the First Presbyterian church performing the ceremony. The bride and groom were unattended. Little Miss Norma Horry and Master Jack Hecox acted as ring bearers. The bride was given away by her father and was beautifully gowned in white silk net over white taffeta and wore a long silk veil of ??? held in place with a bridal wreath of orange blossoms worn by her mother on her wedding day. She carried a boquet of American roses. Lucille Crowe played the wedding march and Miss Elizabeth Parsille sang "O Promise Me." After the ceremony a dainty luncheon was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowe were the recipients of many handsome gifts and have the best wishes of a host of friends. The young couple have taken apartments in the Endress block and will be at home to their friends after February 12.
Mrs. Rowe always lived in the ??? and has a great many friends here. Mr. Rowe formerly lived in Duluth and is an electrician being now employed by the Union Carbide company.
