• Notes

  The history book story for Leonard Rowe tells us that "The rest of the family came west via U.S.A. stopping at Grand Forks for three weeks [spring of 1910] to visit Mrs. Willie Sherwood who was Leonard's sister. This could only be Sarah Rowe. Found William J. Sherwood and wife, Sarah, in the 1900 census, and the 1910 census. The 1920 census no longer finds them in Union Township. 1900 census show them immegrating in 1895
