  Mom said that Carl moved to the Onamia farm about 1945. Carl's death announcement states that in 1961 there were still four brothers and one sister living in Norway. From Lill, 16 Nov 2009: Did you know that Karl Olai had a brother named Nils who had a daughter born in 1927 who he called Agnes Berntine. Agnes had a son who she called Robert. (Research):The 1910 census shows the whole family living in stevens twp including brother Sorn and another 20 year old born in Norway. The name was difficult to read, but now I know that it was Ingvald Nikolai. According to the land record books in Morris, Carl and Soren rented farm land in southeastern Stevens Township until at least 1916. This would be just north of Artichoke Township in Big Stone County where Nellie is buried. The 1920 census shows a Carl Johnson and daughter Agnus, 16, living in Stevens County. Carl is 44. Citizenship is 1904, naturalization is 1911. Gudrun is on the same page five families below listed with Gustof and Augusta Olson but she is listed as Family 5-5 which is Ellen P. Dahl, Wd. Ellen is the one Gudrun says she grew up with.
