There were two younger brothers; Ivan R, b. 16 Mar 1894 Ashland, NE; and Joseph Fitzgerald, b. 18 Mar 1896. Found Edwin's WWI draft card showing he was married when the form was filled out 5 Jun 1917. He was a clerk in a general merchandise store, Winter Bros., Valparaiso. Found Edwin E. Hendrix in the Valparaiso Community Cemetery listings at Saunders County GenWeb Project at RootsWeb. There is now extremely little doubt that this is the father of Lola Mae. 674	(Research):Email from Diane, 3 Apr 2007: I just called mom in the nursing home. Keep in mind she is 90+ and has been in a nursing home for a few years now, She said Harry was born in Delano, [Wright], MN (not sure what county). She said Harry was his real name (maybe she is right, maybe not) She thought Harry was about 5 years older than Margaret (but she wasn't at all sure). Margaret never lived in Duluth. My mother was born in Walker, MN, so I assume that is where the family lived although Grandma (Montana Electa West Kirkconnell) was on the move a lot. I think they lived in Walker, New Ulm, Waverly, Beaudette, Thief River Falls to name a few and not necessarily in that order, but all in Minnesota.. Like I said Grandma moved a lot. I know my parents (Alison Kristin Kirkconnell Kinsela and Kirwin Kenneth Kinsela) lived in Minneapolis when my brother was born in 1940. Somewhere between 1940 and 1943 they moved to Duluth. 675	(Research):Email from Linda Tannis, 5 Feb 2004: I was at the Archives today, and found an attestation paper for George Leslie Begg, living in Souris, Man, born Lindsay, ON, on 2 July 1886. His next-of-kin was Margaret Brownlee, of Souris, MB. His Regt'l No. is 1000467. Do you think this could be the same George Begg, and that he lied about his age to get into the Force? I think Carolyn has the actual birth regn, 34238-87, for July 2, 1887, so that should be accurate date. Does anyone know if his mother Margaret, remarried to a Mr. Brownlee?
